The book is a classic set of short stories all set in Yorkshire. George Layton actually came from Bradford! He went to Swain House Primary School.
This stories are fantastic memories from a Yorkshire childhood. They'll make you laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time.
Once you've read these stories, pick your favourite one and write a book review for the story. Who would you recommend it to? Which bits were your favourite and which bits did you hate?
